Wonderful, Beautiful Copenhagen!

Chris had been to Copenhagen several times before so he acted as our tour guide. We got of the ship bright and early in order to get to the "Little Mermaid" statue before the crowds. As Chris said, it's probably the most overrated attraction in Western Europe. The statue itself was only about 6 feet tall and was really not very special. A few hundred feet BEFORE the famous statue is another statue of a mermaid that was a lot more impressive.

We walked the entire city, and Chris knew everything about the Danish Royal Family, various monuments and buildings and all of the history of the city. Around 10AM we headed to Tivoli Gardens which is a little amusement park in the middle of the city. It really was a fun way to spend the day. By this time we were really churched and palaced out so some roller coasters were really a welcomed change.
